Dates: June 9-10, 2023
Eligibility: all young people between 16 and 30 years old can take part.
Location: Strasbourg, France & online
This is a hybrid event, taking place both in-person at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France, and online.
It is a unique opportunity for young leaders to interact, inspire each other, and exchange their views with experts, activists, influencers, and decision-makers, right in the heart of European democracy.
Develop and present your most inspiring ideas
During the event, participants will take part in activities co-created with institutions, international organizations, civil society, youth organizations, and participants themselves, offering a space for discussions and networking.
In light of the European and global context, and in preparation for the European elections in 2024, a significant portion of the program will focus on the role of democracy and youth engagement.
After the event, the ideas, expectations, and concerns of young people will be collected in the EYE Report, which will then be distributed to all Members of the European Parliament (MEPs).
This presents an opportunity for some participants to further develop the most inspiring ideas and present them directly to the MEPs during the EYE Hearing.
Why attend the European Youth Event 2023
The EYE aims to ensure that the event is inclusive and accessible, to design all aspects of the event with ecological considerations, and to engage and inspire youth to be role models.
Participation in the EYE is free of charge, but participants will need to arrange and cover their own travel and accommodation expenses in Strasbourg.
